Project steps
- Interactive and interdisciplinary training courses are designed to improve the ability to to respond appropriately to incidents of VAWG.
- In addition, a certificate program will be established at New Vision University (NVU), Tbilisi , to offer practitioners an academic opportunity to improve their qualifications, build networks and broaden interdisciplinary perspectives.
- COVIOCRIM is also pursuing the goal of establishing a legal clinic in Tbilisi in order to offer victims a quick and uncomplicated means of support.
- At the same time, the aim is to inspire and raise awareness of the topic among young academics.
Project goals
By establishing and promoting an interdisciplinary, professional network of practitioners in the field of VAWG in Georgia, COVIOCRIM aims to pave the way for the effective implementation of necessary measures in the future. COVIOCRIM's main goal is to improve the sustainability of the fight against violence against women and children in Georgia.
